Connection, Communication, Creation, and Communion II
Description
Many of the most pressing interpersonal, community, and international issues revolve around communication, or the lack thereof. This course explores the process of connection, communication, creation, and communion: internal and external, verbal and nonverbal, interpersonal and international, intuitive and nonlocal. Course explorations include thoughts, words, and actions, social networks, global dynamics, and natural systems, and communication processes including self-inquiry, Bohmian dialogue, Nonviolent Communication, and wisdom councils. Explorations include research, practicum, written reflection, and dialogue.
Objectives
After completing this course participants will have gained an expanded understanding of connection, communication, creation, and communion; they will have experienced ways of connecting, communicating, creating, and communing in new ways; and they will have developed and expanded their ability to work with connection, communication, creation, and communion in their personal and professional lives.
